Got this to play on my Asus Nexus Player and enjoyed it so much that after the first race I was already trying to figure out how how to buy the full version of the game! (You don’t get the option until you’ve cleared the first screen, then it was only $2.99. Well worth it for the fun I’ve already had!) Also, the game works fine with the gamepad but the controls are setup for the remote. Just an FYI for everyone. The only real sticking point is how long it takes to load the screens and the races in between screens.

If you like classic racing games like Top Gear, this is well worth the $3 for the full game. No in app purchases/Microtransactions (thank god). The game is challenging but fair, and it is very fun to play once you get the hang of it. Unlike Asphalt 8/Xtreme and NFS you won’t have to spend $20+ just to get one car. $3 gets you everything the game has to offer and unlocking new cars/content is not hard and doesn’t take long at all. Don’t listen to the cheap-o’s who want the game to be free.

I’ve been a fan of racing games since the days of the ZX spectrum (Enduro racer anyone?), Lotus Esprit TC on the Amiga, Grand Prix on the PC the list goes on. I first played this game at a store on an iPAD and I was hooked. It’s a well produced game and well worth the money.

The initial load time is a minute. A MINUTE. And this, on my more than capable, Idol 4s. Whereas on iOS the loads times are almost negligible. But this game will never see an update, so there’s that. Great game, though, if you like old school/Outrun racers. Look great and sounds great. Just takes all of FOREVER to load.
